Bug Awareness

Designed for the Texas Department of State Health Services and UTEP to address the issue of the transmission of a bug parasite (TCruzi - Chagas disease) to humans from the bite of the Triatoma bug. The project took the form of an English/Spanish 8 page children’s activity flipbook that included helpful factual information, coloring book sections and word puzzles. Distributed to children at elementary schools, the awareness campaign was successfully received and welcomed. A new activity book on Mosquitos is currently in development.
